Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt and across the Red Sea.

Noah built an ark to save his family, as well as pairs of every type of animal and bird, from the Flood that destroyed all of the wicked people and creatures on Earth.

David defeated Goliath, which prompted the Philistines to flee.

They are just three of numerous people in the Bible who undertook solo missions for God.

Since the beginning of time, God has continually called upon His people to accomplish missions to combat evil and to improve the world.

While many will pursue the mission that God has assigned to them, others will choose not to, or even worse - many will instead submit themselves to the devil.

While most of the missions God has called people to pursue require the help of others, there are many instances when He expects individuals to accomplish them alone. The mistake many is sharing their God-given solo mission with family and friends, who in most cases will discourage them from pursuing it.

God instills unique visions of missions within everyone’s minds that are distinctive, so its common for others to not understand your mission or be able to see your vision - they will only comprehend and see the one that God has implanted within their minds.

While telling others about your mission can be a mistake, the biggest setback is fear. However, we must neutralize our fear with our faith because as Jesus assures us in Matthew 17:20 - “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed nothing will be impossible for you.”

Although our missions may not be as significant as those of others that were achieved throughout history, they are nonetheless mission-critical. God expects us to pursue and accomplish to make this world a better place.

Should fearful thoughts creep into your mind during your pursuit, keep the faith and trust God, just as David, Moses, and Noah did. Even though it is a solo mission, always remember that God will be with you every step of the way, guiding you throughout your journey and providing you with the strength and capability to succeed.

Persevere determinedly throughout your mission until it's a "Mission Accomplished". When you feel overwhelmed and discouraged during your mission, keep in mind what God told Moses, as written in Deuteronomy 31:6 - “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you or forsake you.”
